KAKAO APP SETUP

How to get your Kakao Client ID and Secret

Go to the Kakao API Console Credentials page then click on Add New Application Button.

Then You’ll see the application creation form in the popup:

• Upload App icon
• Put the App name
• Put the Company name
• Finally, click the Save Button

And After save the data popup will be closed, then you have to click on your new app for opening the config page.

Click “Kakao Login” option:

 

Then Click “Register Redirect URI” Button

 

And You’ll see the Redirect URL creation form in the popup:

• Put The Redirect URL:  https://shopidreamapps.com/kakao/auth
• Finally, click the save button

Then Enable the State from Activation Settings Section

You’ll see the Active Kakao Login State Enable popup:

Now Go to Kakao Login > Security Menu

Now click the Generate Code Button

 

You’ll see the Generate a Client Secret Code popup:

Just click the Generate Button

Now you can see the Client Secret Code

 

Then copy the Client Secret to the Dream Social Login API Keys fields (Apps -> Dream Social Login -> API Keys -> add the values to the fields in the Kakao section):

Now Go to App keys Menu

Now you can see the App Keys Section > REST API key

Then copy the Rest API Key to the Dream Social Login API Keys fields (Apps -> Dream Social Login -> API Keys -> add the values to the fields in the Kakao section):

Paste the Rest API Key in the Client ID Input Section.

Save the changes.

 

At last, Enter the Consent Items menu and select Profile Info (nickname/profile image) and Email to set Required consent.
